The legs of two figures standing on the opposite side of the boat are visible beneath the trailer. The Prince Edward Yacht Club burgee, the United Kingdom Union Flag, and the designation "CA-9" are painted on the side of the hydroplane. A note that accompanied the photo when it was previously housed inside an album read, "MISS CANADA IV."
