Print, Photographic

Sepia-toned photo of the single-Allison engine hydroplane MISS PEPSI (predecessor to the famed twin engine MISS PEPSI) on a stand in the water between two rows of pylons at a marina, as taken off of its port side. A man with his back to the camera is on the starboard side of the boat, forward of the engines. The "Seven Sisters," of Detroit Edison Conner's Creek Power Station stand in the background. A note that accompanied the photo when it was previously housed inside an album read, "MISS PEPSI (1st) 1948."
