Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring differing types of lamps, and lampshades sold at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A series of differing lamps include those with ceramic, glass, and brass bases, as well as differing shapes, colors and sizes of shade are featured and each lamp illuminates the window. A large heart is visible in the rear left background. Signage affixed to the heart reads, "Its Hudson's for Valentine Gifts, Room-Flattering Gift Lamps, Lamps Tenth Floor, Woodward." Printed on the bottom of the recto is the date, photographic sequence number, and the photographer's name, 2-4-47; 22740-16x; Davis B. Hillmer."
