Laundress and Hudson brand washers are featured in the left foreground, signage placed atop the Hudson's washer reads, "Extraordinary Spring Sale, Hudson Special Washer, $37.95." Norge brand refrigerators are featured in the right foreground, signage above the large home appliances are sold for $259.00; visible in the left rear of the image are Westinghouse iceboxes. Various small kitchen appliances are seen behind the larger items, including pots, pans, strainers, and grinders. Oil Cloth is visible in the rear of the department, and three sales ladies stand right of the sales counter. The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "17089."
