Black and white photograph of two framed Robert Hopkin paintings hanging on a wall, one on top of the other, at the Detroit Historical Museum exhibit "An Artist Views Detroit - Robert Hopkin." The upper painting shows a river with both tree-lined shores visible on the left and right. A small strip of sandy shore is in the foreground with a leaning wooden fence and driftwood. Two canoes with people are in the foreground with three more canoes behind them. A steam boat is heading down the river in the direction of the viewer.

The bottom painting shows the steam boat ARROW at its center. At the bow and stern of the boat are American flags. In the background on the left side of the painting a tree-lined shore can be seen. On the right is a sailing ship. In the foreground is a canoe with people, one of whom is waving to the steam boat.
