Print, Photographic

Black and white photograph of Temple Beth El at one of its earliest locations; most likely on the corner of Washington Avenue and Clifford Street. This temple was first used in 1867 and used until Temple Beth El moved in 1902. The photo is taken at an angle to show the entrance as well as the right side of the building. The stone temple has two chimneys, both on the right side of the building. Five large arched windows on the right side of the building with five smaller ones at ground level. The main entrance has a large arched doorway with a rounded room to the right with a smaller entryway. A short, black wrought iron fence encloses the front entrance.
