This image shows, his face toward the camera, sitting in a chair with his army coat hanging over the back. His left leg is outstretched, his right tucked against the chair. A man wearing a hat stands on the right side of the photograph near Gladwin. This man, seen in profile, has his right hand out in front of him gesturing to Gladwin, his left hand is near his head with his thumb pointing behind him.
