Print. Black and white photographic print of a casual furniture display at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Featured in the display are two twin beds joined together at the corner to create a sofa; an occasional table has been placed in front of the make-shift seating arrangement, and an upholstered chair is opposite the couch. Also, neighboring the sofa is a desk, and arm chair. A female mannequin, dressed in day wear, is holding a magazine and standing right of the sofa. A life-saving device is affixed to the wall, and features differing advertisements. The date is hand-written on the verso, "1948." Also, printed on the bottom of the recto is the photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name, "23681-4x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
