Black and white head-and-shoulders portrait photograph of Jack Kevorkian, clad in a lab coat and shirt and tie, taken during his internship at Henry Ford Hospital. "Dr. Jack Kevorkian, in his lab coat (1955)," is handwritten on the verso. An accompanying note from Kevorkian's niece Ava Janus added, "Uncle, with his hair combed differently, in his lab coat."
