Black and white photo of SLO-MO-SHUN IV on the Detroit River. The Whittier Hotel can be seen in the background at the far left. Based on the configuration of the boat, the picture was probably taken during the 1950 Harmsworth or Gold Cup Races, both held in Detroit. Ted Jones was her driver and Mike Welsch was his riding mechanic in 1950. SLO-MO-SHUN IV won both races.
