Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring outdoor furniture sold at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. An ornate metal table and chairs with upholstered cushions is featured in the center of the display. The table appears fully dressed for a meal and includes drinking cups, bowls, flatware and linens; a light bulb is featured atop the table, as part of an extension of the ornamented base. A stylish throw is draped over the left foreground chair. Two cherub base planters are featured on opposing sides of the background. Signage in the left foreground reads, "Now Open Town and Terrace Shop ready for your selection to Summer Living, Hudson's Ninth Floor." The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "28294-x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." Also, stamped on the verso is the photographer's name, location and telephone numbers, "Davis B. Hillmer Commercial Photography; 8825 Second Ave. Detroit. 2. Michigan. TR 5-7620, TR 2-8000."
