Black and white photo of a ladder against the west side of the southern wing of the White House on Belle Isle, presumably taken during the building's renovations by the Friends of Belle Isle. Another ladder is suspended horizontally from a bracket along the edge of the building's roof. Two tiers of boards on roofing brackets are installed on the roof above. "P. 6, #18," is handwritten on the verso.
