Sepia-toned photo of the ferry BELLE ISLE docked to the west of the foot of the second Belle Isle Bridge on the mainland. A sign that reads, "To Bathhouse," is posted on the port side of the boat. A figure stands beneath what appears to be a mechanical signal next to the dock. The bridge spans the river in the background. "Must be the new Belle Isle Bridge, Detroit, Michigan--Built after the old wooden bridge burned," is handwritten on the verso.
