One color photograph which shows an S.S. Kresge store that was destroyed by fire during the 1967 Detroit Riot. The image shows the charred ruins of the collapsed building with only a brick front remaining. Debris is scattered on the sidewalk and four African Americans are walking past the front of the former store. (The store may have been located on Grand River Avenue near Larchmont Street.)
