Differing types and models of home appliances are featured throughout the retail floor including General Electric, Eureka, and Hudson brand vacuums in the foreground, and visible in the background are differing brands of stoves; washer and dryers; refrigerators and freezers. The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "22922-3x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "1947."
