Handwritten blue pen text on the verso reads "John Ireland, July 12, 1960 - V.G. interview; in Detroit to catch Errol Flynn at the Cass Theatre (play's title of which I can't recall), but the play was a complete disaster with Flynn's heavy drinking no help." A newspaper obituary of John Ireland (died March 21, 1992) from the Detroit News is taped beneath the notes.
