One black & white photograph of the passenger steamship, SS South American. The photo shows a starboard side view of the ship which is resting at anchor in an ice-covered harbor. A shoreline is visible in the background. Black printed text along the lower edge of the photo reads "Season's Greetings," and "Marine Historical Society of Detroit, Inc." The photo has a decorative scalloped edge.
