Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior retail display of the differing laundry appliances sold at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Appliances include washers and dryers made by Bendix. A series of cabinetry in the rear of the display demonstrates how one's laundry equipment fits into the home. The photographic sequence number, company name and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "22922-8x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "1947."
