One black and white photograph (and one copy) showing the interior of a two-story factory building at McLouth Steel Corporation. The two-level Continuous Annealing & Pickling (CAP) line is shown. The upper level shows the line's furnaces under construction. At the far right, workers can be seen installing the furnaces. Several metal hoppers rest along the edge of the upper level. The hoppers have "XACF ARLANE & HAYS" stenciled on their sides. Several Babcock & Wilcox firebrick boxes also can be seen. On the lower level are tool carts, hoppers, firebrick boxes, and empty pallets. Two workers sit on boxes to the right of the hoppers. A black box with white text in the lower left corner reads "NO. 11 C.P. LINE DATE: 3-11-75 CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS".
