Print. Black and white photographic print of a large food exhibition held in the auditorium at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Individual kiosks feature differing types of confectionaries, including Gilbert's Chocolates, and Garden of the Setting Sun Dates which are visible in the central and right foregrounds; several other kiosks are featured in the background. The perimeter of the auditorium also features many other types of foods including Bran and Fig Cereal, and Ginger Cookies. Cut-outs of a large cartoon chef and sous-chefs adorn the top perimeter of the auditorium. The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "23913-x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "Sept. 30, 1949."
