Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior display for Rusco windows available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A small gable front structure set up inside the department store features differing types of siding, as well as Rusco Combination Storm Sash and Screen Windows. Signage adjacent to the structure features an example of the window and reads, "RUSCO Combination Storm Sash and Screen, Now available on Hudson's Tenth Floor, RUSCO all-weather, triple-service window conditioning consists of permanent frame with a patented adjustable closure molding that permits fixed alignments with the existing window frame. Into this frame are interlocked well-made panels of glass and screen inserts, easily interchangeable from the inside. Rusco windows do away with the fuss and bother of using ladders to put up Winter storm sash and Summer screens. Rusco Storm Sashes insure Summer and Winter comfort. Complete installation handled by Hudson's; Armco-Iron, rustproof closure molding, Rustproofed, then finished with two coats of outside enamel; Kiln-dried western pine, wood-life treated, then finished with two coats of outside preservative paint; Clear, flat drawn Libby-Owens-Ford glass, 16-mesh galvanized screen keeps out even very small insects." The photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "18955-x; Davis B. Hillmer."
