One color photograph of a statue of Jesus with a face, hands, and feet that were painted black during the 1967 Detroit Riot. The white stone statue depicts Jesus in a flowing robe and standing with outstretched arms. It is mounted on a stone base and set in front of a fieldstone grotto. The statue is located at Sacred Heart Seminary near Chicago Boulevard and Linwood Street. A printed black date stamp on the edge of the photo shows "Jul., 67."
