One black and white photograph of the decorative curved white marble backdrop for the Spirit of Detroit statue (prior to the installation of the statue). The view looks northeastward from the east side of Woodward Avenue and shows the recently-completed backdrop in the foreground. Several downtown Detroit office buildings can be seen in the left background, and the 20-story City-County Building (now the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center) is visible in the right background. Handwritten blue ink text on the verso reads "Kryptar metered; Architecture of Detroit, New County Building in foreground; Infinity, Fill - 1/25, Dull or cloudy but bright day," and "F. Lazurek, 1377 Drouillard Rd., Windsor, Ont., Canada."
