One black and white photograph of the outstretched right arm of the Spirit of Detroit statue that is located at the entrance to the City-County Building (now the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center) in Detroit. The view looks slightly upward and shows the bronze forearm and hand which holds gold-colored figures representing a young family (man, woman, and a child held in the woman's right arm). The marble backdrop is visible in the left background and the face of the statue is visible in the right background. A partly cloudy sky can be seen in the far background. Handwritten blue ink text on the verso reads "35 mm, 35, #23-68," and "Photo Journalism by Laz-U-Rek, 1377 Drouillard Rd., Windsor, Ont., Canada."
