One black and white photograph of the decorative curved white marble backdrop for the Spirit of Detroit statue (prior to the installation of the statue). The view looks eastward from the east side of Woodward Avenue and shows the lower portion of the recently-completed backdrop with its Biblical inscription from II Corinthians 3:17. Six statues of Old English carolers with a dog and lamp post are located below the inscription on a base of Christmas greenery.
