The photo shows a view of the crane with its wooden column, arm, supports, and metal fittings along with a heavy block, lifting chain, and manually-operated winch. The crane appears to be located in an alley or passageway behind an old 2-story stone building which has a wooden double door on the ground level and a wooden double door on the second floor along with a wooden landing.
