One black and white photograph of Mariners' Church which was located at the northwest corner of Woodward Avenue and Woodbridge Street in downtown Detroit. The view looks westward across Woodward Avenue and shows the east wall of the church along with extensive excavation work which has been done in preparation for moving the building to a new location. The building is resting on several layers of heavy timber beams and steel beams. Woodbridge Street can be seen at the left side of the photo along with adjacent office buildings. The Veterans Memorial Building can be seen in the far background at the left.
