A wide variety of other types of housewares are visible in the background including irons, coffee urns, and enamel pitchers and buckets. Hoover's Special Positive Agitation vacuum is displayed between the banks of elevators. Signage for the Woodward Avenue section of the building is affixed to the wall prior to the banks of the "Down" elevators and reads, "To Woodward Ave. Building, Basket Shop, Service Desk, To Right; Glassware, China, Pottery, Fireplace Fixtures, Unpainted Furniture To Left; Lamps." The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "17088."
