The view looks eastward along the south side of Jefferson Avenue and shows broken concrete sidewalk, exposed basements, and debris in the foreground. Commercial/office buildings can be seen along the north side of Jefferson Avenue at the left side of the photo. The bell tower of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church is visible in the far background near the center of the photo.
