One black and white photograph of the steam whistle on the derrick boat, COMANCHE, of the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. The photo shows a close-up view of the vertical, cylindrically-shaped whistle with a small whisp of steam escaping above the cup-shaped base. A lever with a return spring as well as a pull cord and pulley are visible at the left side of the whistle. A manufacturer's emblem on the steam valve housing at the whistle base reads "Trademark Crosby."
