One black and white photograph (and one copy) showing an aerial view of a small harbor that is enclosed by rip rap breakwaters. Two barges are anchored near the outer breakwater and two crane barges and a tugboat are moored near the shoreline. A large number of concrete pipe sections are stacked on end or are resting on their sides on shore near the work area. Several roads and residential properties are visible in the lower left and upper right corner areas of the photo. A typewritten label along the lower edge reads "Nottingham Water Intake - Cleveland, Ohio, 1948-1951. Breakwall for harbor - intake cofferdam and pipe manufacturing and storage yard." The construction work was completed by the Merritt-Chapman & Scott Corporation.
