Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring different styles of blankets available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Blankets are draped against the walls or rolled up and tied with ribbons; on blanket has been placed on a chair in the foreground. A large ornate sculptured adorned with a fairy, and flowers. Signage affixed to the larger signage in the left-central foreground reads, "Thousands of Detroit women voting in the 'House and Garden' survey of color-preference, chose an exciting group for their favorites; selected those colors they would like best to live with, in room settings in house furnishings. You chose the colors, Hudson's has them!" The larger piece of signage reads, "The New Colors YOU Selected for Your Home, Your colors take over in… Fieldcrest wool blankets and embroidered bedspreads. Wall NU- Hue Paint Color, 837." The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "4-23-47; 22806-10x; Davis B. Hillmer."
