One black and white photograph showing a seawall under construction at McCormick Place on the Chicago waterfront. In the center left area of the photo, the crane barge, "Ojibway," of the Merritt-Chapman & Scott Corporation is using a pile driver to place sections of steel sheet piling for a new seawall. The area to be filled in is visible in the foreground and Lake Michigan is visible in the left background. Two additional crane barges can be seen in the center background and the south Chicago shoreline is visible in the right background. A typewritten label near the lower right corner reads "Dock Wall South of McCormick Place, FS 1216, September 17, 1965, North End of Job (McCormick Place), Looking South." A black ink stamp on the verso reads "Calumet Studio, Arthur P. Stalla, SO 8-1951, Reorder No. FS6559."
