One black and white photograph showing a new dock under construction at Lake Calumet Harbor, Illinois. The photo shows seawalls under construction along the sides of a new ship dock. The ground is lightly covered with snow. Workmen and a small crane can be seen on the left side of the photo. Several barges and earth embankments are visible in the background. A typewritten label near the lower right corner reads "Dockside Development Corp., Slip No. 2, Lake Calumet Harbor, Ill., December 23, 1968, FC 1248. View Looking West." A black ink stamp on the verso reads "Calumet Studio, Arthur P. Stalla, 768-1951, Reorder No. FS6863." The work was done by the Fitz Simons & Connell Dredge & Dock Division of the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company.
