One black and white photograph showing a new seawall under construction along the North Branch of the Chicago River near Belmont Avenue. The photo shows steel bracing along the back side of a new seawall that has not yet been backfilled with earth. An earth embankment and loose aggregate can be seen at the left side of the photo. The river and transom of barge #803 can be seen at the right side of the photo. Typewritten labels near the lower corners read "Fitz Simons & Connell Dredge & Dock Div., Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co.," and "Material Service Yard No. 3, 80.5 L.F. of M227 Steel Dock, Looking South From Belmont Ave., F.C. 1268. April 23, 1971." A black ink stamp on the verso reads "Calumet Studio, Arthur P. Stalla, 768-1951, Reorder No. FC7131."
