The photo shows an area where existing steel sheeting is being removed. An earth embankment and debris can be seen at the left side of the photo. The river, a barge, and several workmen can be seen at the right side of the photo. Typewritten labels near the lower corners read "Fitz Simons & Connell Dredge & Dock Div., Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co.," and "Material Service Yard No. 3, View Looking South From Belmont Ave., Showing Cutting Existing Sheeting Prior to Extraction. F.C. 1268, April 12, 1971." A black ink stamp on the verso reads "Calumet Studio, Arthur P. Stalla, 768-1951, Reorder No. FC7129."
