One black and white photograph of the Buffington Harbor Lighthouse at Gary, Indiana, and the new pieces of heavy stone rip rap that have been placed along the breakwater. Lake Michigan is visible in the foreground along with the lighthouse and harbor entrance (at left). A shoreline is faintly visible in the left background and a crane barge can be seen near the breakwater in the center right background. A typewritten label near the lower right corner reads "FC 1295 - Universal Atlas Cement, Buffington Plant - June 26, 1975. Lighthouse Area After Placement of Armor Stone." The work was done by the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company.
