The photo shows the three pilings and a river in the foreground along with a long catwalk to the shore. A steel truss bridge over the river is visible in the background. Handwritten blue ink text on the verso reads "Completed Cells on Inland River." (The photo was probably taken on the Mississippi River or the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway.)
