Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of an interior housewares display at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The display features differing types of housewares available in the Sunbeam Treasure Chest, sold at the department store including, toasters, irons, stand mixers, perk-o-later coffee pots, and waffle irons. Signage affixed to the rear of the small appliance display reads, "For the June Bride, Sunbeam Treasure Chest, $141.95, Including all Sunbeam appliances shown and chest, Use Your Credit." A woman, dressed in a bridal gown, stands adjacent to the treasure chest, also displayed are two upholstered chairs, and an end table with lamp. Signage affixed in the rear of the display reads, "Perfect Coffee Every Time, Sunbeam Automatic Coffee Maker; Sensation-New Sunbeam Radiant Control Toaster, Automatic Beyond Belief!" Differing types of home appliances and accessories are visible surrounding the display. The photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "24053-x; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." Also, the date is hand-written on the verso, "May 25, 1950."
