Workmen and company officials are standing on the barge deck and the adjacent dock. They appear to be looking at a heavy chain and related machinery that controls the adjustment of one of the spud piles on the barge. The crane boom and operator's cab can be seen in the background. Handwritten blue ink text on the verso reads "Dunbar II, Nicholson Dock, Dec. 10, 1966."
