Black and white photo of one of the legs of the World's Largest Stove at the Michigan State Fairgrounds, taken during John Harvey Versteeg's inspection of the stove on July 17, 1966. Metal braces support the legs of the stove. A low chainlink fence surrounds the stove. The Department of Street Railways bus shelter stands in the background. "AUG 66," is printed in the center of the photo's top border. "John Harvey Versteeg, Industrial History Division, Detroit Historical Museum," is stamped on the verso. The photo was previously pasted to a page beside the handwritten caption, "Foot missing. Replaced w/ fibre glass screen."
