Black and white photo of a Garland Stoves and Ranges sign painted on the side of a brick building near Michigan Avenue and 14th Street. Part of a sign for a wine store, which was painted over the bottom of the Garland sign, is visible. The left third of the photo was over exposed or not developed properly. "AUG 66," is printed in the center of the photo's top border. "John Harvey Versteeg, Industrial History Division, Detroit Historical Museum," is stamped on the verso.
