Black and white photo taken of a Timken streetcar truck, and old Detroit Citizens Street Railway car number 73 being pulled by an off-camera streetcar along Fort Street amid a dense crowd in a parade to promote Timken's trucks on January 8, 1931. Nearly everyone in the crowd wears a hat. Only the canopy over the truck is visible through the crowd. It carries a sign that reads, "Worm Driven Streetcar Truck. A New Industry for Detroit." City Hall stands in the background.
