One black and white photograph of the headquarters building of the American Red Cross - Detroit Chapter, located at 2163 E. Jefferson Avenue. The photo shows a front corner view of a large 3-story brick building which was located on the north side of Jefferson Avenue at Dubois Street. Signs with the Red Cross logo can be seen on the front of the building. Handwritten text on the verso reads "2163 E. Jefferson, red Cross Hdq., 1940's" A blue ink stamp reads "W.J. Lake & Son, Photographer, 9563 Stoepel, Detroit, Michigan, and "C16 S1."
