One black and white photograph (and one 11" x 14" black and white copy) of student artwork at Children's House, an art center for children in Detroit. The photograph shows a close-up view of student created masks for the first annual art exhibition held in May, 1937. The masks are of both animal and human faces, decorated with paint, feathers, yarn, and other materials. The verso has stamped text, reading "Children's House Detroit, Michigan." There is also blue handwritten text that reads, "Masks by 10-13 year olds - (part of first annual exhibition when Children's House was six months old). Spring 1937." Text on the verso of the copy reads, "masks by 9-12 year olds."
