One black and white photograph (and one 2.75" x 3.75" black and white copy) of student artwork at Children's House, an art center for children in Detroit. The photograph shows a painted mural of dogs pulling a sled. The sled team is encountering a den of angry polar bears, as well as cracking ice and polar bears emerging from the water. The man on the sled at the back of the pack has a shotgun ready to use against the bears. Handwritten pencil text on the verso of the original states, "Mural painting done directly on the wall by one 12 year old girl." Stamped text on the verso of the copy states, "Kodatone Eastman Kodak Store Detroit Oct 17 1941."
