One black and white photograph of a student at Children's House, an art center for children in Detroit. The photograph shows an African American boy who is working on the lower section of a battle scene mural. His face is obscured from view. Tanks, planes, and soldiers can be seen on the mural to his right. Several metal paint containers are resting on a narrow shelf beneath the mural. Handwritten text in pen on the verso states, "painting mural directly on wall. (designed + executed by this one child.)."
