One sepia-toned photograph (and one 11" x 14" copy) of students at Children's House, an art center for children in Detroit. The photograph shows three girls who are sewing costumes. One girl is kneeling on the floor and making pleats in netting material. Another girl, wearing a costume head-piece, is seated in a chair and is sewing a piece of cloth. The third girl's project is not visible. Framed paintings done by other students can be seen on the walls in the background. Handwritten in pencil on the verso of the copy states, "Children's House 9-12 year olds making -," and "Doctor Crawford's daughter (w/ crown)."
