The photograph shows a boy standing on a sidewalk outside the Children's House building. He is wearing a leather cap and jacket, and is playing a harmonica. A brick wall, bay window, lawn area, and shrubs can be seen in the background. Handwritten pencil text on the verso of the copy reads, "Jasper Patterson, who always arrived playing his harmonica."
