One black and white photograph (and one 8" x 10" sepia-toned copy) of students at Children's House, an art center for children in Detroit. The photograph shows a group of young children who are standing around the woodworking table while working on wood projects. The children are using various hand tools. At the right side of the photo, one boy is sitting on a large crate while working on a log cabin model. In the background, a completed wooden windmill rests on the window sill and other artwork can be seen on the walls. Handwritten text on the verso reads, "making objects out of wood 4 year olds."
